Early in her career, Sharon was fortunate to work with a renowned
portrait artist, where she painted for many years, enhancing her talents
and skills. Her distinctive impressionistic style emerges as her vibrant
colors and loose brush strokes come together to capture the spirit of her
subject. In 2003 Sharon opened her own portrait studio in the Piedmont
area of North Carolina. She continues to study with some of the finest
artists in the nation and is an active member in local drawing and
painting groups.
