"Tibetan Rug Factory" charcoal, 21" by 14"
This was one of my favorite places in Nepal. Not far from Katmandu, Nepal, they
call this area the Tibetan Refugee camp because the area started out as a
refugee camp for Tibetan people fleeing the Chinese takeover of their country.
This factory is run and operated by the workers themselves so they make a much
higher profit from their rugs than the normal rug maker.
