"Maria in Blue Shawl" oil, 18" by 14"
Here's a photo I took of Susan painting Maria in this setup. This was done just about when we got our first digital camera and you can see it in use already. Because I knew the folds of the drapery would change after each break, I took a shot and made a print on break so I'd be able to use the photo for the fold's patterns and the live model for the colors and values.
