"Amy with Apples" oil 12" by 16"
This painting was done during a three hour session in Winston-Salem's "Old
Salem" along with several other local artists who'd all gotten together to
do some plein air painting together. It was rather hot that day and I remember
my shirt being soaked through by the time I finished this painting. Amy is a
local girl who'd called us just the day before and volunteered to pose. It's not
easy posing outdoors and she did a fantastic job!
