Shopping just isn't my thing! I guess I'm the extreme stereotype of a man since, without Susan, I'd have very few cloths, and definitely nothing nice! So when we went to some of the jewelry, ceramic, and other large shops on our trip, my walks through the air-conditioned showroom were brief as I headed for the steamy back where I loved watching the large warehouse rooms with dozens of workers making the objects themselves. The older workers were much quicker and skilled while the younger ones learned their craft through observation and careful tutelage, starting out with more simple objects and slowly working their way up to more and more complicated things later.
